The train design of metro line 3, Nhon – Hanoi Station section is one of the most modern of Alstom
In October 2019, the Hanoi People’s Committe and Alstom signed the memorandum of understanding (MOU) for the contract of train manufacturing for metro line 3. The event was at Alstom train manufacturing workshop in Valenciennes, France.
Alstom had carried out many experiments for the train design to fit with Vietnamese culture. Ms. Sylvia Sannelli, Alstom project director said the design is in line with dragon fruit’s color. The front of the train is also very modern. It is one of their most modern designs.
According to the MOU, train movement tests will start in November 2019 at Valenciennes.
